Waiting

The waiting game. Are people worth the wait? The time we invest in them? We tend to know this answer when we ask this question in the first place.

If you find yourself questioning a person, the truth is they aren’t right for you anyway. Because if something truly felt right, you wouldn’t feel the need to question it?

A lot of the times I get frustrated with myself for not going with the flow, for always questioning everything, overthinking the tiniest word and making it out to be something that its not. I used to think this was a major flaw in my character. Up until I actually listened to what my soul was saying and acted upon it.

We tend to fear confrontation as we think it pushes people away, but by doing so we are only wasting time and end up fooling ourselves. If you question something or someone being right for you, they aren’t.

Don’t be afraid to be alone. If you were with them you would only go overboard on the stress boat and that would be a lot harder to live with.

If it truly doesn’t feel right, then it isn’t right. We need to trust our instincts more, no matter how badly we want something. The only thing that matters is how you feel around them. I’m not talking about doubts in general because having doubts is normal. But consistent doubts and unease, that’s a problem.

If it doesn’t make you happy, let it go. It’s not a loss but actually a gain of peace.
